Chris Taylor came to us on a referral from a Philly based Cross-Fit gym in 2014 to give us a try to see what we could do with his knee that sounded “like it had velcro inside of it”. Chris was bound and determined to get this problem fixed even though he has seen an Orthopedic who stated it was probably just some arthritic changes and crepitus (joints that crack, pop, make noise without pain). Fast forward into 2015 and he opens his own gym in Northern Philadelphia, right outside of Temple University, North Barbell. In August of last year, Chris wrote this fantastic blog we highly recommend.
Article Title: NERD ALERT: ACUTE VS CHRONIC INJURIES AND REHAB METHODS
Author: Chris Taylor

Eccentric Loading, Ice Massage, Acute Pain, Chronic Pain, Tendinopathy (what happens when your tendonitis continues to be trouble), and so much more!
Don’t miss the shout out to Dr’s Mark, Andrew, and Craig at the bottom of the article as well. While Chris worked hard on his own to fix his own knee and power lifting induced low back pain, we put him on a pretty good course to getting better. We are so happy to work with patients at our office from all walks of life, not just athletes. Give us a call if you have an injury you would like to see what Active Release, Chiropractic, and Corrective Exercise can help you with.
